These conflicts can arise due to a variety of factors, including territorial disputes, ideological differences, competition for resources, or geopolitical rivalries. Here are some examples of international armed conflicts that have occurred in recent history:

1. Syrian Civil War (2011-present): The Syrian Civil War began as a domestic conflict but quickly escalated into an international armed conflict with multiple actors involved. Various countries, including the United States, Russia, Turkey, Iran, and several Gulf states, have supported different factions within Syria, leading to a complex and protracted conflict.
2. Russo-Ukrainian War (2014-present): Following Russia’s annexation of Crimea in 2014, an armed conflict erupted between Russia-backed separatists in eastern Ukraine and the Ukrainian government forces. This conflict has involved direct military interventions by Russia, leading to ongoing tensions between Russia and Ukraine.
3. Yemeni Civil War (2015-present): The Yemeni Civil War began as a domestic power struggle but has since evolved into an international armed conflict. The conflict involves multiple parties, including the Yemeni government, Houthi rebels, and a Saudi-led coalition supported by other Arab states. The conflict has caused significant humanitarian suffering and a complex political and military landscape.
4. Israel-Palestine Conflict: The Israeli-Palestinian conflict has been ongoing for decades and has resulted in several international armed conflicts. It involves the Israeli government and various Palestinian factions, including Hamas and the Palestinian Authority.
